Manage Web Users and Cumulus Users via the web.

It’s all about management.

Working in a Digital Asset Management environment can bring along some challenges. One of these challenges is managing user-access to the different databases (catalogs) you are hosting. Especially when this access is given to companies you are working with and that need to access your catalogs via the web (using Web Publisher Pro or Internet Client Pro).

If only one person or a few of that company need this access, you will probably be able to manage this by using the standard Cumulus User Manager.

But, in a production or collaboration workflow most of the time the access has to be managed for more people at the customer’s or partner’s site. This can quickly become a nightmare for your Cumulus system administrator.

With the WebUserManager you can easily let your customer handle the access for his employees from within a web browser. You create one or more Cumulus Users per customer. The customer creates web-users that act as one of those Cumulus Users. You keep full control over their permissions.

The WebUserManager acts as an access-hub for your customer.

With the WebUserManager you are also able to manage “real” Cumulus users via the web. Depending on your access rights you can control different users and their individual rights from within your web browser.

The WebUserManager can act as a full blown remote User Manager.
